Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary Bungalow

Muthanga Wildlife Sanctuary in eastern Wayanad is part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve — one of Asia’s most important wildlife corridors connecting Wayanad forests with Nagarhole and Bandipur in Karnataka. The bungalow inside the sanctuary is the ideal base for jeep safaris and guided forest walks. Elephant herds are commonly seen, and tiger, leopard, and wild dog populations use this corridor. The bungalow offers a basic but genuine forest experience in one of South Asia’s most critical wildlife habitats.
