Nilambur Forest Bungalow
The Nilambur forest bungalow offers accommodation near the world’s oldest teak plantation — Conolly’s Plot established in 1844 — in the North Kerala forests of Malappuram. The surrounding Nilambur North Division forest is one of Kerala’s most important elephant corridors and part of the Nilambur-Coorg elephant route. The bungalow is the base for guided walks through the historic teak forest, the Nedumkayam rainforest, and teak museum visits. A unique combination of ecological and historical significance rarely found elsewhere.
