Quiet forest inspection bungalow deep inside Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary, 34km from Mananthavady. One of the most authentic forest stays in Kerala — no mobile signal, no WiFi, and complete jungle immersion. The Thirunelli Temple at the base is one of the oldest temples in Kerala. The bungalow is the ideal base for Brahmagiri Hills and Pakshipathalam treks. Elephant herds pass through the area regularly, especially at night. Carry all food and supplies as there are no shops nearby. A cook can sometimes be arranged through the FD office.
