Wayanad WLS Tholpetty Bungalow

The Tholpetty range bungalow inside Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary sits inside the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve — one of the largest wildlife corridors in Asia connecting Kerala forests with Nagarhole and Bandipur in Karnataka. Elephant herds move through the area regularly, and tiger, leopard, and wild dog sightings are recorded. Jeep safaris and guided jungle walks depart from the range office. The bungalow offers a basic but authentic forest experience. Mobile signal is available in parts. The area around Tholpetty is less visited than Muthanga making it a quieter and more genuine wildlife experience.
