Meenmutty Falls Trivandrum — multi-tiered waterfall in Palode reserve forest near Ponmudi. Dense evergreen forest trail with stream crossings. Ponmudi Ecotourism managed. Best October to January.
Meenmutty Falls near Ponmudi in Thiruvananthapuram is different from the more famous Meenmutty in Wayanad. Located in the dense forests of Bonaccord along the Agasthyarkoodam approach, this waterfall plunges through multiple tiers of rocky terrain in the Palode reserve forest. The trail is through dense evergreen forest with stream crossings. The falls are at their spectacular best between October and January when water levels are high. The path is organised by Ponmudi Ecotourism and forms part of the Ponmudi hills trekking circuit.
