Meesapulimala at 2640m is the second highest peak in the Western Ghats. Trail from Rhodo Valley base camp passes through rare Rhododendron forests that bloom January to March, pine plantations, and high-altitude grasslands. Overnight camping at KFDC base camp included. Views of Anamudi and the Cardamom Hills are spectacular.
